(More customer reviews)I have not have the misfortune of experiencing the problems that others have had with this laptop. I've had mine for 3 years, and it's still working great. I haven't pushed it with 3D gaming or anything, but it's handled everything I've asked it to do. No hardware failures. No crashes. I'm a software engineer, so I've used a lot of computers, and this has been one of the most stable.

ORIGINALLY PURCHASED FOR 1800$. It is a silver with white trimed DELL INSPIRON E1705 Notebook. This rather large laptop is equipped with a 17" TFT active matrix WUXGA display, powerful Intel Core Duo processor at up to 2.0GHz, up to 4GB DDR2 RAM, wireless LAN, and (6) USB 2.0 ports WINDOWS VISTA HOME PREMIUM. Purchased a year ago, and in very impeccable condition. Havent had any problems with it ever, downlaods programs and does everything extremely fast, and has just been uploaded with a 2 year warranty with Kaspersky Anti-virus software. Also includes a hewlet packard printer.
